Role Overview
The General Accountant at Hilton isn't just a number-cruncher; you will be a trusted finance partner. Your role is to support the finance lead in training, development, and ensuring a robust control and compliance environment while contributing to EMEA Operations Finance innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Analyze large volumes of complex financial data to create accurate reports, forecasts, and projections.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and prevent potential financial issues in collaboration with the team.
- Team Development: Support the growth of the finance team and assist in training activities to develop best-in-class professionals.
- Reporting & Presentation: Develop and present financial data effectively to all levels of management, hotel leadership, and owners.
- Operational Excellence: Implement finance innovations and ensure compliance with Hilton’s global standards.
Candidate Profile
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to handle complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook (SAP or hospitality software knowledge is a plus).
- Communication: Strong negotiation and communication skills with both internal management and external customers.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a reliable team player.
