LEONI, the global provider of energy and data management solutions for the automotive industry, is officially opening applications for its Electrical Maintenance Engineer Trainee program in Egypt. This is a full-time annual contract opportunity designed for fresh engineering graduates who are eager to build a career in global industrial maintenance and automation.
Role Overview
As a Maintenance Trainee at LEONI, you will be part of a high-performing technical team responsible for ensuring the reliability of production systems. This role offers hands-on exposure to preventive and corrective maintenance, Lean TPM methodologies, and critical plant infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of Maintenance Protocols: Performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility utilities.
- Systems & Utility Support: Inspecting and maintaining critical infrastructure, including electricity, compressed air, and HVAC systems.
- LTPM Implementation: Contributing to Lean Total Productive Maintenance (LTPM) activities to ensure an efficient technical environment.
- Equipment Calibration: Supporting the installation and technical re-qualification of machinery and tools.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyzing machine performance data to identify technical bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Technical Documentation: Maintaining accurate logs of maintenance activities and spare parts usage for KPI tracking.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power or Mechatronics).
- Experience: Fresh graduates (0-1 year of experience) with at least one industrial internship or technical training.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid grasp of PLC, motor controls, and electrical circuits. (Graduation projects in automation are a plus).
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in MS Excel and basic AutoCAD.
- Language: Fluent English (written and spoken) for technical manuals and global reporting.
