Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits across operational, financial, and compliance processes.
- Review internal controls and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Assess construction project cycles, cost-control procedures, subcontractor payments, and project documentation.
- Prepare audit plans, working papers, risk assessments, and audit reports.
- Follow up on corrective actions and ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Support senior management with data-driven insights to drive organizational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with internal control frameworks and audit methodologies.
- Coordinate with various departments and project sites to gather evidence and validate findings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in internal audit roles.
- Mandatory experience in audit firms (Big 4 or mid-tier firms is a plus).
- Solid experience auditing construction companies.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments.
- Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CISA) are a strong plus.
